Who’s Your Daddy . . .
If you’re Jessica Simpson—and we’re guessing you’re not, because we’re pretty certain she doesn’t read this blog—then the answer is Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, known for making passes at receivers and Hollywood starlets alike. (He also hit the tabloids for purportedly getting a lapdance from Britney Spears, which made us wonder if the NFL launched an investigation to see what he was on when that happened).
It seems that Papa Simpson is a Cowboys fan and Tony is a Jessica fan. It must have been her star turn in Employee of the Month that won him over. Or maybe Dukes of Hazzard. Or maybe the short-shorts she wore in Dukes of Hazzard. No, it had to have been her thespian skills. Uh-huh.
Anyway, toss those two things together, add Papa Simpson’s overbearing “I’ll make it happen” ways, and you have a Yummo recipe for Sweetie Pie. (Yes, that’s us making fun of Rachael Ray. Sorry, Ma. Don’t worry, I won’t tell that story of how I fooled you into thinking I was her on the phone that time).
Simpson and Romo even spent Thanksgiving together with her family. Forgive us for this next pun, but we could not resist: Ahem. No word as to whether Romo exhibited a preference for breast or thighs on Turkey Day . . .
