Lance and Kate Instead of Roger Federer, Kyle Busch, or the Celtics
We could blog about the 2008 French Open Men’s Final, but we’re so disappointed about Roger Federer’s loss to Rafael Nadal that we get verklempt just thinking about a post. *wishes on a lucky star that things are better at Wimbledon ’cause we really heart R-Fed*
We could write about how bad-boy racecar driver Kyle Busch wrecked his car prepping for the Pocono 500, but Tim Zaegel of b5’s Do You Nascar kinda already has that covered, YouTube video and all.
We could even write about Game 2 of the NBA Finals, but we’re watching the game (don’t worry; we’re only composing this post during commercial breaks) and don’t want to jinx the Boston Celtics because Big Brown lost, Federer lost, and you know what they say about bad luck in threes . . .
So in lieu of all that, we bring you shameless self-promotion a link to our take on Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson over on the Speeding Bullet Network, where we do an audio version of sports–celebrity dish. Our stuff—on Lance and Kate, Mindy McCready, and how certain celeb–athlete hookups would be a bloggerette’s dream—is on this page under The Ticket (we’re known as Gossip Goddess over there, and no, we didn’t self-bestow that name).

Thanks for the link love there, Jodie. For some reason, anytime Kyle Busch wrecks his car these days, people seem to be interested ???

Tim—Maybe because there are so many people who don’t heart him . . . and they take pleasure in seeing him crash? Come now, NASCAR fans . . .
