Jason Kidd Handles More Than Basketballs
New Jersey Nets All-Star Jason Kidd got called for a “reach.” Normally that’s a run-of-the-mill foul . . . unless it happens in a nightclub instead of an NBA game and to a woman instead of a ballhandler.
Kidd hasn’t exactly earned a reputation for class and refined manners, due in part to a bitter divorce battle in which he was accused of infidelity and spousal abuse.
The 23-year-old woman whom Kidd allegedly bad-touched filed a police report following the incident, which (not surprisingly) resulted in a kerfuffle. The kerfuffle got out of hand such that TWO bouncers had to break it up.
Obviously, the only amusing facet about that bit of dish is that it gave us the chance to use ”kerfuffle”—one of our favorite words—not once, but twice.
