Charger Fans Taking Over the ‘Hood
It just so happens that The Bee and I are staying in Boston this weekend.*
And so are a whole lot of San Diego Chargers fans, gearing up for today’s AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots.
We checked into the Westin Copley and it. Was. Packed. There was actually a line at check-in and the valet garage is full. Everywhere you look there are yellow and light blue shirts with LaDainian Tomlinson’s #21. We dined at The Palm last night and our waiter told us that Chargers Coach Norv Turner had reservations at the primo steakhouse the previous night. He stood them up, but still, he was almost there.

So, yours truly has Big Plans to trash talk but no good opportunities yet. Those darn Chargers fans are never quite in earshot. When they are, I’m going to turn to The Bee and say, loudly enough:
“Imagine coming all the way from San Diego to watch your team lose?”
And then, when you hear that there was a riot in Boston and some chick and her husband came thisclose to getting tossed off the top of the Prudential Center by an angry mob, you’ll know who it is. Or was . . .
*cough cough* We’re in the city celebrating because a certain bloggerette’s birthday is tomorrow. *cough cough*

Patriots vs Giants, eh? Think I’ll go to the beach. Stay warm out there…

Well, we then went home to watch the game, and it was a toasty 72 degrees in our living room . . .
