A Very Brief History of Tony Romo’s Lap Dances

by Jodie Lynn Boduch on March 5th, 2008

Celebrity trivia: What do Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson have in common?

Whoa! That’s a loaded question that could lead to some pretty snarky answers. Let’s rephrase that:

What do Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson have in common concerning Tony Romo?

Answer (as if you couldn’t tell by the post title): Both busty, blonde paparazzi bait pop artists have given lap dances to the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

Yes, we think the Britney lap dance is scary, too. Conveniently enough, it allegedly happened (per Ryan Seacrest) around Halloween. Creepy coincidence? We think not.

The Jessica lap dance isn’t scary and but definitely drifts into TMI with visual aids. Tony (and everyone else in the nightclub) were treated to Jessica’s wiggle routine to the tune ”Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira. And if you want another song ruined once and for all, note that Tony Romo apparently guzzled champagne to the ditty “Your the One That I Want” from Grease. (How does one drink “along with” a song?).

So, is true that “Hips Don’t Lie”? Only Tony Romo knows for sure.

Tony Romo is young and living large right now with his new found fame and stardom. If he is drinking champagne and getting jiggy to Grease tunes with Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson we can only hope he is just going through a phase!!! Tony, WAKE UP! Please concentrate on your career and become an elite quarterback. I don’t want to see another season of Terrell Owens crying after a game!!!

This raises an important philosophical question, Jason. Which is worse to endure, the mental image of a Britney Spears lap dance or the sight of Terrell Owens crying at a press con?

We realize that Tony’s young, but he’s got to think about the rest of us . . .
