5 Reasons Why I’m Glad the Red Sox Won the AL East
1. Because it means the Yankees didn’t.
2. Because I no longer have heart palpitations worrying about what a laughingstock they’d be if that blown 14.5-game lead resulted in a division loss.
3. Because we didn’t need The Rocket. And he’s got a boo-boo now, anyway.
4. Because everyone thought they’d choke. (This little blogerette included).
5. Because otherwise, Jonathan Papelbon’s Irish step dancing skills would have remained a secret.
