Tom Brady Still Torturing Himself Over Super Bowl Loss. Or Not.
If you need yet another reason to not feel sorry for overpaid professional athletes, we’ve got one for you.
Think Tom Brady has spent the months since the Super Bowl in a deep depression, reliving his mulititude of sacks, and raising a clenched fist to the heavens while shrieking “Why?” in between agonized sobs?
Not so much.
First, he and Gisele Bundchen frolicked in Costa Rica for about a month. Now the jet setters have switched playgrounds and are kicking back in Europe. (Thanks to Caesar and Pat–both sent this along!)
Costa Rica–meh, that didn’t concern us so much. But the giddy-up in Europe? Well, the New England Patriots QB is ditching optional offseason workouts in favor of cafes, nightclubs, and fashion shows. For El Team-O Capitan, that’s not a move that screams “committment,” “leadership,” and “focus.”
It could be worse. Imagine if we got word—or worse yet, pictures—of Bill Belichick in a thong bikini running around the beaches of Thailand. Then we’ll be nervous (and scarred).

Looks like Tom Brady was not going to take a back seat to Tony Romo in the party department.

The difference between Tom Brady and Romo is Tom has nothing more to prove in Football. He’s won multiple super bowls, broken records, etc. Now he’s dating one of the most beautiful women in the world and coming off a killer season. I think he’s due some R and R. And hopefully we will come back next season a bit rusty so other teams can play in the super bowl for a change! :)

Caesar–You’re right. No wonder he came to Romo’s defense when the Dallas QB took a sunny getaway with Jessica Simpson during playoffs.
Jason–Hmm . . . I don’t know about that hoping Brady comes back rusty part but you’re right about him having nothing to prove. Just as long as the Manning boys don’t find their way to a ring next year, we’ll cut Brady some slack.
